Former President and Republican 2024 presidential nominee Donald Trump delivered remarks at the Turning Point Action event this week and, in those remarks, he managed to declare one of the most truly terrifying things we have ever heard.
Turning Point Action is a Conservative, Christian, extremist group that has made it their mission to re-install Donald J. Trump in the White House.
In his remarks to the far-Right group, the scandal-plagued and felony-convicted former president directly addressed “Christians,” as he called on them to get out and vote in this year’s presidential election — a hilariously stark contradiction to what he just told Fox & Friends a few days ago, when he said that he was so confident in his impending success, because of all the Trump/Vance signs he’s been seeing, that he doesn’t even need people to vote at all.
However, in this call to action to his religious supporters, Trump managed to go full-blown dystopian in one of the loudest things he has ever had to say.
“And again, Christians, get out and vote!” Trump screamed to a round of cheers and applause from the crowd, “Just this time! You won’t have to do it anymore! Four more years, you know what?! It’ll be fixed, it’ll be fine. You won’t have to vote anymore, my beautiful Christians. I love you, Christians. I’m a Christian. (Though, many people heard “not a Christian” here.) I love you. Get out. You gotta get out and vote. In four years, you don’t have to vote again, we’ll have it fixed so good, you’re not gonna have to vote.”

It certainly sounds to me like he’s alluding to the fact that we won’t be able to vote again if he stages the comeback of his dreams, and many Americans agree:
