Donald Trump took to Twitter to explain why he canceled his planned trip to his golf club in New Jersey over the weekend, and his excuse just doesn’t ring true. Trump, who doesn’t seem concerned that more than one hundred and twenty-six thousand Americans have died from COVID-19, tweeted that he wants “to make sure LAW & ORDER is enforced” in the nation’s capital so he can “keep our communities safe.”
We’re not even sure what this means unless President Rampy plans to bravely crawl out of his bunker to roam the streets so he can singlehandedly mete out justice.

Trump is not a “law and order” president. Donald J. Trump is a lawless president that lacks empathy. This president has failed to address systematic racism in this country, so now we’re seeing the consequences of having a failed leader during multiple national crises. No one believes Trump’s explanation. For someone who loves to play the strong man, Trump has only proven to be a monumental coward.
