Trump Tries To Take Credit For Governors’ Success, Says “Every Governor Who Has Sky High Approval On Their Handling Of The Coronavirus, Could In No Way Have Gotten Those Numbers, Or Had That Success, Without Me “

Donald Trump kicked off his Tuesday morning by launching attacks on media figures while also taking credit for the approval ratings of the Governors of individual states whose approval ratings are “sky high” over how they’ve handled the pandemic. Something tells me that Trump saw CNN’s latest poll that shows the president’s approval rating in the shitter over his handling of the COVID-19 outbreak. Trump’s approval rating over the pandemic has gotten worse, and that’s likely because he’s the worst president conservative voters could have chosen to lead us through a national crisis.

So now Donald wants to take credit for the Governors’ approval rating just like he took credit for former President Barack Obama’s economy:

This is why he’s taking credit for other people’s hard work again.

Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan (R) secured half a million coronavirus test kits from South Korea instead of waiting for assistance from the federal government. “The president said the governors are on their own, and they should focus on getting their own tests, and that’s exactly what we did,” Hogan said.

A recent poll of 22,000 Americans showed that the Governors of all 50 US states have higher approval ratings for their handling of the coronavirus crisis than President Trump.

Instead of comforting a panic-stricken nation, Trump has spent his time throwing hissy-fits while lashing out at the Governors who are trying to keep their constituents safe from the pandemic. That’s something Trump has failed to do, and it’s the president’s job to do everything in his power to keep all Americans safe.
