During his G7 closing press conference in Evian on Wednesday, Donald Trump was talking about the 2020 election being rigged when the microphone picked up an unusual sound. Those around him stayed quiet as Trump carried on with his speech.
Journalist Aaron Rupar shared the clip with the caption: “Trump’s body makes some sort of horrible sound while he rants about the ‘rigged election.'” Within the first hour, the post collected over 38,500 views.

The Iran deal was the main topic of the press conference, but Trump also used the appearance to defend what he called the greatest deal in American history.

He dismissed his -25 net approval rating as “fake polls” and brought up the 2020 election while answering a question about European trade. When asked when the Iran agreement would be released, he said: “I think it is going to happen fairly on time.” He also responded to critics of the deal by calling them “the tough guys that would drive the country right down the tubes.”
The strange sound became another talking point after the briefing ended. The White House has not responded to questions about what viewers heard through the microphone, while some online users suggested possible medical explanations and others shared their own theories. The clip does not provide a clear answer, but the internet had already made up its mind.
