Trump Went On Twitter In The Middle Of The Night, Called Nancy Pelosi “An Incompetent Political Hack!”

Good grief. He completely LOST it!

In the midst of all this mess, it’s pretty common for folks to be up in the middle of the night. Whether they’re worried about a sick loved one, concerned about their high-risk family and friends, scared to death for their own safety, or wondering just how in the hell they’re going to pay their bills and feed their kids as yet another day without a job comes and goes — it’s a terrifying time we live in right now, and one that certainly gives even the calmest of folks a hard time getting to sleep.

But the president of our nation is never awake for any of the above reasons. And his Twitter feed alone is proof enough of that.

While it’s true that Donald Trump doesn’t do much catching up on Zs, he certainly doesn’t stay up fretting over the impending fate of his family, or even that of the American people he swore to protect — a promise he’s reneged on each and every day as the leader of this nation.

Instead, as we all sit up with our worries and fears, Trump sits up with a growing rage at House Speaker Nancy Pelosi — one that ultimately crescendoed into a blazing Twitter tantrum recently.

Trump retweeted a days-old video of the House Speaker doing a virtual interview with The Late Late Show host James Corden, in which they had a bit of good-hearted fun and Nancy showed off her quarantine snack collection, complete with a stash of ice cream that even Joe Biden was proud of.

But instead of finding it cute and endearing like anyone with half a human soul would, the segment evidently just made Trump all rage-y, resulting in him referring to the Speaker of the House as an “incompetent political hack” in his middle of the night tweet.

“An incompetent political hack! Come back to Washington & take care of our great American workers,” Trump seethed in his caption of the video.

The thing, Donald, is this: Human beings are capable of doing more than one thing at a time. It’s not only possible but highly plausible, dare I even say guaranteed, that Nancy was socially distancing in her home per the nationwide guidelines, fighting for the American worker, and having a bit of light-hearted fun all from the comfort of her home.

If you’re finding yourself overly angry at the fact that you’re currently unable to hunker down in your Trump Tower and instead have to face this big, bad virus on the front lines, might I suggest a signed resignation as soon as possible?
