Donald Trump’s corrupt organization is staring down the barrel of highly potential criminal charges as early as this week — something his legal team has just a matter of a few days to try to combat, according to reports — and one former official of the ex-president’s business is publicly saying that Trump deserves to go to jail.
Barbara Res used to serve as the vice president in charge of construction within the Trump administration and has spoken out a few different times now in regard to the investigations swirling against the ex-president and his business. During a recent appearance on CNN, Res revealed that “nothing major” goes down at the ex-president’s beloved company without him knowing about it.
“He is in this with both legs,” Res explained during the CNN segment when discussing reports that prosecutors have notified Trump attorneys that they have until Monday to somehow prove that these criminal charges are not warranted.
Multiple reports have also indicated that Trump Organization CFO Allen Weisselberg is also facing down criminal charges in connection to the investigation, in what many believe is a move by prosecutors to pressure the Trump Organization official to turn state on the ex-president.

Thus far, Weisselberg has yet to actually turn on the ex-president and owner of the Trump Organization, ex-president Donald, and Res says she finds that surprising.
“Trump has something on him, I would imagine,” she theorized. “That’s the only thing I can think of.”
CNN host Jim Acosta asked the former Trump Organization Vice President if she felt that the former president belongs in jail for the things he’s done.
“Certainly,” she answered without pause. “That’s an opinion of a citizen, not even somebody that knows Trump.”
Res goes on to add:
But I do know him and I know that he’s very deliberate, very measured and very vengeful. And he doesn’t follow the rules. He never did follow the rules. So, does he deserve to go to jail? I imagine he does.””
