Taylor Swift is undeniably garnering a whole lot of attention here lately and it seems Donald Trump isn’t handling it well.
Fox News has already taken it upon themselves to speculate on the possibility that the world-renowned, billionaire pop star is actually a political operative for the Biden Era Pentagon and now the former guy himself is attempting to throw his own sizeable weight around, as new reports confirm Trump and his allies are already threatening and preparing for a “holy war” if Taylor Swift throws her public endorsement behind Joe Biden this election year.
Rolling Stone reported on Donald Trump’s closed-door hissy fit after speaking with numerous sources familiar with the matter who say that the former president and his allies fully expect Swift’s endorsement of Biden to come down any day now, as it did in 2020, and the mere prospect of it is already infuriating the one-term, twice-impeached Republican candidate.
The publication spoke with two sources who revealed, “Behind the scenes, Trump has reacted to the possibility of Biden and Swift teaming up against him this year not with alarm, but with an instant projection of ego. In recent weeks, the former president has told people in his orbit that no amount of A-list celebrity endorsements will save Biden. Trump has also privately claimed that he is ‘more popular’ than Swift is and that he has more committed fans than she does.”

A source close to the former president confirmed that Trump reacted rather badly to Swift’s Time magazine’s 2023 Person of the Year, reportedly telling insiders that it “obviously” made no sense and he’s spent a lot of time and energy brainstorming with his inner circle about ways to attack the pop star if and when she endorses his Democratic opponent.
“It would be more fuel thrown onto the culture-war fires,” one official working on Trump’s re-election campaign told the publication. “Another left-wing celebrity who is part of the Democrat elite telling you what to think.”
Rolling Stone reports, “Trump has been having a popularity contest with Swift in his own head,” as one of Trump’s pollsters claimed that Swift’s endorsement wouldn’t actually have any tangible effect on the election.
Top Trump pollster John McLaughlin said, “Since Biden is so weak, they need others to shore up his credibility. Won’t matter [since] his disapproval is driving the race. Voters aren’t fools. Celeb endorsements of Biden are like donating to Nikki Haley. They are a means of virtue signaling. It’s like wearing a medical mask in public after COVID … Celebrities can endorse Biden but it doesn’t lower inflation, stop wars, fix the border, or lower crime. Biden’s job approval still sucks. So Trump is still winning and will win.”
