To be frank, Donald Trump is already facing down a world of trouble with regard to his relentless public attacks and threats against anyone who dares to come after him — more namely, Garland-appointed DOJ Special Counsel Jack Smith who has now lodged a whopping four formal criminal indictments against the scandal-ridden former president, with no end in sight.
Donald’s public behavior and rhetoric have grown so severe, in fact, that prosecutors with Smith’s office have been left with no choice but to request an order of protection to be put into place against former President Trump, as his threats have reached a boiling point that Smith and his office fear “could have a harmful chilling effect on witnesses.”
Of course, instead of tucking his tail and shutting his mouth like one would be expected to do in a situation like this, Trump and his people have only grown more vehement in doubling down on their dangerous rhetoric — much to what we can only imagine is the intense dismay of the legal team that’s been tasked with defending this disgraced blowhard.
As we speak, Trump’s legal team is up against a strict, critical deadline in connection to the aforementioned threats and subsequent protective order — yet their client is out here making a complete ass out of himself, as he launches yet another fresh round of the very same attacks he’s standing accused of.

Just hours before his legal team’s ordered deadline to answer for their client’s threats and attacks surrounding his rightful prosecution, Trump took it upon himself to launch a fresh, new round of childish, sickening attacks against Special Counsel Jack Smith and Obama-appointed U.S. District Court judge Tanya Chutkan.
In a post on his floundering Truth Social platform, Trump fumed:
Deranged Jack Smith is going before his number on draft pick, the Judge of his ‘dreams’ (WHO MUST BE RECUSED!), in an attempt to take away my FIRST AMENDMENT RIGHTS. This, despite the fact that he, the DOJ, and his many Thug Prosecutors, are illegally leaking, everything and anything, to the Fake News Media!!!”
Smith’s office requested that Judge Chutkan implement limits on the scope of what Trump’s legal team could do with the evidence that was shared with them in discovery, on the heels of Donald’s open threats against Smith, prosecutors, and what appeared to be witnesses in the case. Chutkan set a deadline at 5 PM today for Donald’s attorneys to respond to that motion.
In their request for a protective order, prosecutors sought to prohibit Trump’s attorneys from providing their client with copies of “sensitive” details hailing from grand jury transcripts, as well as other specific pieces of evidence, due to their fear that the ex-president will attempt to retaliate against witnesses he feels have betrayed or wronged him.
This restriction, if put into place, would still allow Donald Trump to view the evidence, but he would not be allowed access to personal copies and would be barred from recording any personal identifying information from any documents or evidence.
