In case you missed it, Donald Trump got a less-than-warm welcome from the Libertarian Party when he attempted to deliver a speech at the Washington Hilton only to all but flee from the stage after just 34 minutes to a succession of jeers and boos that were so brutal and humiliating, his own former attorney made fun of him for it.
To make matters even funnier (for us, at least) it was the same former Trump attorney who helped steamroll his claims that the 2020 election was stolen from him, only to now point out that “regular voters” actually just hate his guts.
Trump made the desperate attempt to appeal to the Libertarian crowd because, frankly, he’s in desperate need of their votes, come November, leading him to agree to give a speech at the Libertarian party convention, despite multiple warnings that it was highly likely that he would not be well received by members of the party.
He was not well received.

Trump spent a chaotic half an hour on the stage getting viciously booed as he attempted to needle the same people he desperately needs votes from, going off script and off prompter, until he finally appeared to give up on the whole thing altogether, ending his speech with a pathetic plea to the party to nominate him as he was walking off the stage.
The Guardian’s David Smith called the ordeal a “rare humiliation” for the ex-president, but it was Donald’s own former attorney Jenna Ellis who really iced the humiliation cake for her former client when she took to X (formerly known as Twitter) and wrote, “This is what happens when he talks to regular voters who want accountability for government lockdowns and the covid vax, not MAGA groupies who travel to the Bronx for rallies.”

She even doubled down later on when she predicted that someone within Donald’s inner circle was very likely going to get canned as a result of his brutal and viral public humiliation.
“Some Trump advisor is totally getting fired tomorrow. And then rehired probably by June,” she wrote Saturday night.
