Trump's latest physical once again was filled with over-the-top praise.

There’s a long history of Donald Trump’s doctors issuing physical reports about him filled with over-the-top praise, if light on details.

During the 2016 campaign, while Trump was refusing to release his medical records, his then-doctor, Manhattan gastroenterologist Harold Bornstein, declared that Trump’s “strength and physical stamina are extraordinary” and his “laboratory test results are astonishingly excellent” in reports that many assumed Trump had ghostwritten himself.

In 2018, when Trump was president, his then-White House physician, Dr. Ronny Jackson, praised Trump’s “good genes” and declared that Trump did “exceedingly well” on his cognitive test. Jackson later moved on to a second career as a MAGA-supporting Congressman from Texas.

Now, Trump has another new physical, and like so many others in the past, it’s exceedingly positive.

Per Axios, Trump’s physician,  Capt. Sean Barbabella has issued a memo stating that Trump  “remains in excellent health.” The memo about the physical also noted that Trump still has a scar on his right ear from last summer’s assassination attempt.

Trump also has diverticulitis and had a benign polyp removed during a colonoscopy last summer, and he scored 30 out of 30 in the Montreal Cognitive Assessment.

Trump maintains “robust cardiac, pulmonary, neurological, and general physical function,” the doctor wrote in the memo. “His active lifestyle continues to contribute significantly to his well-being.”

“President Trump exhibits excellent cognitive and physical health and is fully fit to execute the duties of the Commander-in-Chief and Head of State,” the memo stated.

The report also states that Trump weighs 224 pounds, 20 pounds lighter than his weight five years ago.

As with the previous physical reports, there were a lot of comparisons on social media to certain professional athletes and other famous people:

The implication is that Trump and the doctors aren’t being honest about his weight, but another possibility is that athlete’s listed heights and weights are often outdated or inaccurate.
