Controversial Fox host Tucker Carlson popped off with what was officially one of the worst things we’ve ever heard come out of his mouth today when he threw out his suggestions for a possible new name for the monkeypox disease, one of which seemed to be packed to the brim with a disgusting dose of homophobia.
Recently, people from the science community, as well as the World Health Organization, spoke out on the topic of possibly renaming the monkeypox disease over concerns of racism. As it stands, no new name has been announced for the illness that is beginning to spread throughout the US. However, it seems Tucker Carlson is chock full of shitty ideas for the change and even went so far as to call on his viewers to offer up their own suggestions on social media.
“As long as they’re going to change the name, we should have some role in naming it. It shouldn’t be left up to Tony Fauci and Deborah Birx, so what should we call it?” Tucker told his audience during his recent segment. “Democracypox? Schlong COVID, our favorite? Tweet us your suggestions. We’ll read the best ones tomorrow.”

“Schlong COVID” appeared to be a not-so-thinly veiled homophobic jab as the monkeypox disease has connections to the LGBTQ+ community, specifically gay and bisexual men — though it is NOT considered an STD.
