TX Woman Posts Receipt Blaming ‘Bidenomics’ For Drink Taxes, Internet Claps Back: ‘Ask Abbott’

Some people need an economy lesson.

I really have to wonder about the ignorance of some people, especially folks on X (Formerly Twitter) who seem to revel in posting nonsense, thus telling the world “I’m dumb and I’m gonna rub my dumbness in your face.” I’m sure most of us know this all-too-common affliction is common among supporters of Donald Trump. Some of these people are so dumb, in fact, that even the Russians are well aware of this fact, according to Ron Filipkowski, who’s the editor-in-chief of MeidasTouch.

“Russian media mocks Trump supporters as “not very smart,” “rednecks,” and “primitive people” who you have to talk to with “cliches and dumb slogans,” Filipkowski notes on X.

But I’m not writing about Filipkowski, the Russian media, or Trump supporters as a whole.

I’m writing about one woman in particular who may or may not be a Trump supporter, because her bio on X says little, and because PatriotTakes has aptly schooled her:

“That’s Texas’ mixed beverage tax, not “Bidenomics.” Joe Biden isn’t the governor of Texas.”

@priinye says little on her X bio, so it’s not clear if she’s a Trump supporter. But judging by her ill-informed post, blaming President Joe Biden for something he couldn’t possibly do, she may not be the brightest bulb in the lamp. Maybe she’s thinking of George W. Bush, the former governor of Texas. But she should be thinking of Greg Abbott the actual governor of Texas. Plus, this quote from Coco Chanel, who collaborated with the Nazis, posted on her bio isn’t a good look.

It reads: “The best things in life are free. The second best are very expensive.”

X users didn’t fail to note PatriotTakes gibe at her dumbness and some had a blast with it.

“Hmmm….she might want to talk to the little angry man in the wheelchair. Ask him what’s up with all the taxes on dining in Texas,” wrote @cozmo73.

Let’s face it. Abbott usually looks angry, and we all know he loves immigrants, right? I mean that’s obvious from all the razor wire he’s strung across the Rio Grande. That gesture just oozes affection (please note the sarcasm).

Another X user wrote:

“When I start posting receipts from restaurants that I’ve spent way to [sic] much money in and then stupidly complain on the internet, pelt me with rotten vegetables. That looks like bragging.”

While another posted:

“Honestly, if you are spending that much for 4 drinks and a meal then complaining about that piddlly [sic] tax, you aren’t the sharpest knife in the drawer.”

Bidenomics, it should be noted, is the exact opposite of Reaganomics (otherwise known as “trickle-down” economics) and has received plenty of praise, as well as a few disses, from key economic experts. Biden has carried far too much blame on his shoulders, from people like @priinye, so it would be nice if these people would get their facts straight before letting everyone else know how dumb they are.
