On the heels of the bombshell testimony from former Meadows aide Cassidy Hutchinson, the Editorial Board for the ultra-Conservative Washington Examiner took aim at “disgraced” ex-President Donald Trump in a brutally scathing op-ed, noting that Hutchinson’s damning surprise testimony “ought to ring the death knell for former President Donald Trump’s political career.”
“Trump is unfit to be anywhere near power ever again.”
“In short, Hutchinson was a conservative Trumpist true believer and a tremendously credible one at that,” the board pens. “She did not overstate things, did not seem to be seeking attention, and was very precise about how and why she knew what she related and about which testimony was firsthand and which was secondhand but able to be corroborated.”
The op-ed goes on to make note of Hutchinson’s testimony that alleged Trump and many of his people were well aware that violence was likely to occur on January 6th and her allegations that Trump was not only nonplussed but even as far as supportive of this violent mob calling for Mike Pences’ hanging.

“She also told, in detail, that Trump repeatedly insisted that he himself should join his supporters at the Capitol — even after being informed the crowd contained armed elements and that it was breaching the perimeter against an undermanned U.S. Capitol Police force,” the op-ed reads.
After tearing the washed-up, one-term, twice-impeached former guy to the literal ground in their op-ed, the Conservative publication’s Editorial Board concluded, “Trump is a disgrace,” and made it crystal clear that the Republican Party has far better options to choose from than this guy.
