Video Circulates Of Melania And POTUS Trying To Shovel Dirt On Earth Day, Internet Responds: “Are They Digging Graves For The People Who Are Dying From His Corruption And Incompetence?”

This did not go down well.

On Wednesday, Earth Day was honored by a president who is poisoning the planet, while at the same time, Trump also finds himself criticized over his handling of and inaction on the coronavirus pandemic that has crippled our country. Trump is likely the worst person to put front and center on Earth Day, but it’s 2020, and apparently, anything goes.

So of course, Trump and his third wife Melania did a photo-op, complete with a video of the First Couple attempting to dig dirt with golden shovels. Melania, clad in high heels, and Trump, wearing his buffoonish red tie, tried to act like laborers for a moment, then the president called for assistance.

Watch:

It’s probably not good optics for the Trumps to be digging holes in the ground since over forty-five thousand Americans have died on the president’s watch from the novel coronavirus outbreak that he failed to address when he first learned of the threat.

The Internet had a few things to say about that.

But it was the best dirt, right, Mr. President? It was incredible dirt — probably the best dirt in the world. Believe me.
