Texas Republican Senator and Cancun’s finest vacationer Ted Cruz seems to be making quite the habit out of airport fiascos as new video footage that’s currently spreading like wildfire all over pretty much every social media platform appears to show the Trump-loving GOP lawmaker in a face-to-face confrontation with not only airport employees, but a law enforcement officer as well.

The short video clip was originally posted to Reddit yesterday and shows what appears to be controversial Texas Senator Ted Cruz in an argument with airline employees at first before a law enforcement officer with the airline was called over to the altercation.

The video footage is only 23-seconds, but it appears to fully capture the GOP congressman looking extremely frustrated as he converses with two female airport employees at the United Airlines check-in desk. Just a few seconds later, the same 23-second clip shows Cruz in an apparently aggravated conversation with a male law enforcement agent, as Cruz holds on to his cell phone and repeatedly appears to gesture with his hands.

Deputy director of Bozeman Yellowstone International Airport, Scott Humphrey, gave a statement to the Daily Mail and reportedly confirmed that it was Senator Ted Cruz in the clip, and explained that the lawmaker was frustrated and upset because he had missed his flight’s check-in window.

“One of our Public Safety Officers (PSO) was in the ticket lobby and was asked to assist with a frustrated passenger at the United ticket counter (which is not unusual),” Humphrey explained. “The passenger had missed the check-in window for his flight and re-booking options were limited out of Bozeman due to Spring Break.”

The airline official confirmed that Cruz was able to acquire a seat on another flight and made it back to Washington, D.C. in time for the Supreme Court confirmation hearing for Biden nominee Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson today.

“Once travel options were explained to the passenger, he was rebooked and departed Bozeman later that evening,” Humphrey stated. “Our PSO didn’t realize he was dealing with Senator Cruz until after the fact.”

Business Insider reported that they have reached out to the senator’s office regarding the incident but they have not yet received a response.
