Donald Trump has gone out of his way to launch relentless attacks against the media since before he even nabbed the presidency with more than a little help from Vladimir Putin and the Russian government. In fact, it’s been one of his biggest campaign platforms since day one and that doesn’t look like it will be changing as the 2020 election season makes its way around.

Generally speaking, Trump’s abhorrence of the “fake news” media is displayed in his tweets and throughout his public appearances — he even went so far as to lob insults against reporters and journalists during his latest MAGA rallies. Honestly, it’s something we’ve all pretty much become accustomed to and come to expect in his rants and tangents.

However, a group of pro-Trump fuckwits took Donald’s rhetoric way past the line of too far recently.

The New York Times recently published footage from a three-day conference held by American Priority at Trump’s National Doral Miami that depicts their sworn leader Trump violently attacking, stabbing, shooting, and assaulting his critics and members of the media.

According to the Times report, the video was complete with a Trump 2020 logo, a variety of internet memes, and features Donald’s head photoshopped onto the body of a man shooting up the “Church of Fake News” with the faces of all his critics and media personnel photoshopped onto the crowd of his victims.

The video ended with Trump driving a stake into the head of an individual with the CNN logo photoshopped over their face then standing and looking around at the carnage with a smile on his face.

Reports indicate that the edited footage originated from the church massacre portion of the 2014 movie “Kingsman: The Secret Service” — with Donald’s face superimposed on Colin Firth’s face.

Since the Times broke the news of the footage, CNN has confirmed that the footage was actually played at the conference, but not in the main ballroom, and the outlet has not yet shared footage of the clip as they haven’t been able to independently verify it.

However, the outlet did issue a statement in response to the clip Sunday night, saying, “Sadly, this is not the first time that supporters of the President have promoted violence against the media in a video they apparently find entertaining — but it is by far and away the worst. The images depicted are vile and horrific. The President and his family, the White House, and the Trump campaign need to denounce it immediately in the strongest possible terms. Anything less equates to a tacit endorsement of violence and should not be tolerated by anyone.”

The organizer of the conference where the violent clip was aired has since claimed that he was unaware that it was being shown in a “side room” and doesn’t condone acts of political violence.

While it’s true that Trump personally didn’t do this, it’s also true that he’s not uttered a single word of remorse since the news broke. And let’s be real here, his rhetoric absolutely, 100 percent inspired it.
