Watch As Republican Governor Appears To Laugh Nervously After He’s Asked About His Texts To Indicted Giuliani Associate Lev Parnas

You should be nervous, Governor.

While the media is talking shit about Elizabeth Warren and Bernie Sanders not shaking hands after the debate, the news of indicted Rudy Giuliani associate Lev Parnas’s texts and documents should be blasted on the news day and night. Former ambassador Marie Yovanovitch — who you will remember from her testimony during the impeachment inquiry — was accustomed to being surveilled by Russians, but not by Donald Trump’s personal attorney Rudy Giuliani’s henchmen.

Once you venture down this rabbit hole, it becomes even more swampy. Yovanovitch’s life appears to have been under imminent threat.

Parnas’s lawyer turned over the documents of the exchanges he had with Giuliani, former Texas Rep. Pete Sessions, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, and former Hill columnist John Solomon as evidence in Donald Trump’s Senate impeachment trial, according to the Wall Street Journal.

DeSantis was confronted during a media gaggle and he just laughed it off nervously even though he has met with Lev Parnas at least six times. In June of 2018, while DeSantis was still campaigning for governor, Parnas and Igor Fruman donated $50,000 to DeSantis’ political committee Global Energy Partners, according to the Orlando Weekly.

With the bombshell document dump, DeSantis told reporters while laughing, “What more is there to say about it?”

Watch:

Literally none of this is funny. In fact, it’s a fucking nightmare. Giuliani wrote Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky at Donald Trump’s direction. And during Trump’s “perfect” phone call with the Ukraine leader, he said of Yovanivitch: “She’s going to go through some things.”

Joseph Bondy, an attorney who represents Parnas, said in a tweet that the messages given to the committee detail “interactions with a number of individuals relevant to the impeachment inquiry.” Bondy has for months been pushing for Parnas to testify on Capitol Hill, using the hashtag “#LetLevSpeak.”

He also sent a message in a very trolly video via Twitter:

Every punk-ass politician who is connected to Parnas needs to be thoroughly investigated. We’re not surprised that DeSantis is nervous. Gee, maybe if he shifts the conversation to Warren and Sanders not shaking hands, that would help.
