Since that pesky little “seasonal flu” coronavirus blew up into a worldwide pandemic, crashed the stock market, and brought the workings of the entire nation to a screeching halt, Donald Trump and his recently formed Coronavirus Task Force (because he fired almost the entire pandemic team that was already in place when he got the keys to the big White House) have been holding daily press briefings regarding the deadly virus that’s so far serving as the end of the world as we know it.
If you can call them press briefings. It’s more like a handful of dimwitted idiots on a stage tossing together a rotten word salad full of lies, mistruths, and deceit, flanked by an increasingly exasperated Dr. Fauci who’s at this point become so fed up with the president’s constant spewing of nonsense that he touched his face.
Frankly, they’re getting worse and worse with each passing day. It really comes as no surprise that media outlets are getting rather sick of granting the stage full of buffoons any air time for their ridiculous and frankly dangerous antics. So today, they didn’t.
During what many are calling the worst Coronavirus Task Force press briefing to date, both MSNBC as well as CNN, two very popular cable news networks, got their fill of Donald’s garbage this evening and simply decided to cut him off.

Honestly, I commend them for lasting this long. I shut it off about two minutes into the first one and have avoided them at all costs since then.
However, Trump’s White House simply couldn’t allow such a slight to go by without declaring to the world how massively butthurt they are over it.
Judd Deere, a special assistant to Trump himself, took to his Twitter this evening after the “president” got his cable news water shut off to declare that it’s “pretty disgraceful that @CNN and @MSNBC have both cut away from this @WhiteHouse briefing with @realDonaldTrump and @Mike_Pence during a global pandemic.”
Of course, Trump’s right-hand couldn’t wrap up his tweet without giving pretty much the only “news” outlet left that will cover this bullshit a solid shoutout, writing, “Thank you to @FoxNews for keeping Americans informed.”

While we have all this downtime on our hands, might I suggest using the parental controls on your nearest Trump supporter’s TV and simply blocking Fox News? If all these reputable outlets quit covering him, we may be able to band together and save a few brain cells during this quarantine disaster.
