President Donald Trump’s recent endorsement of the re-election campaign of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has cost him at least one supporter, at least one who has expressed antisemitic leanings while doing so.
Evan Kilgore, an influencer whose X bio says “Christ is King,” posted over the weekend that “Donald Trump just posted an ESSAY on how amazing Benjamin Netanyahu is and endorsed @netanyahu. for re-election. I take back everything I’ve said…” He went on to state that “Trump is TOTALLY fu*king subverted by Jewish and Zionist interests. I’m so done with the GOP.”
HOLY SH*T:
Donald Trump just posted an ESSAY on how amazing Benjamin Netanyahu is and endorsed @netanyahu for re-election.
I take back everything I’ve said…
Trump is TOTALLY fu*king subverted by Jewish and Zionist interests.

It was something of an odd stance to take, mostly because Trump, while becoming the first U.S. president to endorse the election campaign of a specific candidate in Israel, has long been a backer of Israel and has appeared publicly with Netanyahu countless times throughout his two terms. The two countries even launched the war in Iran together in February.

Trump endorsed the longtime Israeli prime minister on Sunday, calling him “a Great Warrior Prime Minister, and an even greater Partner for Peace in combatting the Islamic Republic of Iran.”
Kilgore has, in the past, expressed countless antisemitic stances, including the belief that Jews should not be allowed to hold office in the United States.
Israel will vote on October 27, in what is Israel’s first election since the attacks on October 7, 2023, and the start of the subsequent war. Netanyahu has been Israel’s prime minister, on and off, since his first election in 1996. He served throughout Trump’s first term, was defeated for re-election while Joe Biden was president, and returned to power a year later.
“Thank you, President Trump, for the tremendous support and work together,” Netanyahu said on X. “Together we will complete the mission!”
