Justice Department Inspector General Michael Horowitz has been conducting an investigation into the FBI’s investigation of Trump’s 2016 presidential campaign as well as their deep dive into collusion with Russia, in an attempt to determine whether or not the FBI had ulterior, political motives for their investigation including a political bias against Trump.
The findings of the investigation were released by the DOJ watchdog today in a report and frankly, it didn’t produce the answers that we all know Donald was hoping for. In fact, the IG report revealed that, while there were some instances of “serious performance failures” discovered by Horowitz throughout the course of his investigation, it was ultimately determined that the investigations conducted by the FBI were in no way fueled by political bias against the president.
In fact, the author of the Steele Dossier that Trump likes to claim was the basis for all of these investigations in the first place was revealed to have been pretty close pals with Trump’s very own daughter Ivanka.
Essentially, the leg Trump and his administration have been standing on to discredit these investigations and their subsequent findings have just crumbled underneath them.

But, this is Donald Trump we’re talking about here. And when it comes to him, facts don’t matter. They never have.
So it came as no real surprise today when Donald attempted to sway the narrative and blatantly ignore the facts by referring to the IG report as “a disgrace… Far worse than [he] ever thought possible.”
During an anti-public education “school choice” event at the White House today, Trump made the declaration to reporters.
“It’s a disgrace what’s happened with the things that were done to our country,” he reportedly stated.
“They fabricated evidence and they lied to the courts. This was an attempted overthrow and a lot of people were in on it, and they got caught,” he continued before describing it as “a very sad day” and “probably something that’s never happened in the history of our country.”
Pres Trump says he’s been briefed on the I.G. report on the FBI probe of his campaign and Russia and calls it “a disgrace.” Says it’s “incredible” and “far worse than what I ever thought possible.” Calls it a sad day and says reasons for the investigation were “concocted.’

Trump’s conspiracy theories were absolutely, 100 percent debunked by his very own Department of Justice, and yet he still continues to spew blatant falsehoods and peddles claims that are in direct contradiction of the facts.
I wish I could say that I’m surprised. But frankly, it’s precisely what I expected.
