The Daily Beast published a bombshell report on Wednesday outlining a pardon Donald Trump allegedly offered WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange in exchange for testimony saying that “Russia had nothing to do with the DNC leaks.” Assange’s attorney Edward Fitzgerald told a London court today that former Rep. Dana Rohrabacher (R-CA) — a very Russia-friendly kind of guy — had passed along the offer of the pardon.
The message Rohrabacher carried regarding a pardon to Assange was reportedly from Trump. The Wall Street Journal reported in 2017 that Rohrabacher attempted to broker a deal for a pardon or clemency between the Trump White House and Julian Assange.
White House press secretary Stephanie Grisham blamed the DNC, according to CNN’s Jim Acosta, and claimed that Trump “barely knows” Rohrabacher.
“The President barely knows Dana Rohrabacher other than he’s an ex-congressman,” she said. “He’s never spoken to him on this subject or almost any subject. It is a complete fabrication and a total lie. This is probably another never-ending hoax and total lie from the DNC.”

Trump tells lies that are easily disprovable. At some point, even his cult-like following will have to see through his schtick.
