Al Sharpton Seemingly Slams Trump At George Floyd’s Funeral: There Is “Wickedness In High Places”

He did not hold back.

Donald Trump has been busy shitposting on Twitter to lash out at the 75-year-old victim of police violence who was protesting against the murder of George Floyd by Minneapolis police officers. That’s who Donald J. Trump is. Well, today is also the day George Floyd’s funeral, and the Reverend Al Sharpton has a few things to say about our insidious president.

Sharpton hit Trump for his photo-op in which he permitted US citizens to be tear-gassed and flash-banged so the president could pose with a Bible in his hand amid the chaos in Washington, DC. That day will be written up in history books as a shameful reminder of Trump’s presidency, and Sharpton wasn’t going to let anyone forget that there is “wickedness in high places.”

“You take rubber bullets and tear gas to clear out peaceful protesters and then take a Bible and walk in front of a church and use a church as a prop,” he said. “Wickedness in high places.”

Watch:

Sharpton also said, “You’re trying to figure out how to stop the protests instead of figuring out how to stop the brutality,” and he’s not wrong. Trump has been trying to stop the protests that have now taken place in every single state, and they’ve also gone worldwide, too. Trump can’t stop a movement. It’s here, y’all, and we need a president who isn’t afraid of finding solutions to problems instead of making matters worse.

Sharpton took Trump to church and school today, and we are here for all of it. Trumpers propped up the most ungodly man this country has ever witnessed in a president, and they promoted him as a Christian. This country needs a reckoning so that we can move forward.

Donald J. Trump will leave office in shame and disgrace.
