Donald Trump wasn’t happy after Attorney General Bill Barr told the Associated Press that the Justice Department did not find instances of widespread voter fraud that would overturn the presidential election results. “To date, we have not seen fraud on a scale that could have affected a different outcome in the election,” Barr told the news outlet. Barr’s announcement was a shock to the president’s supporters, with some of them suggesting that Trump’s hand-picked Attorney General is part of the ‘deep state.’
Trump’s false narrative to cling to power was shot down by his Attorney General. Trump’s problem is that he throws out wild-eyed conspiratorial claims without providing any evidence to back it up while leaving our democracy in dangerous territory. According to Forbes, it’s gotten so bad between Barr and Trump that the president is even considering firing him.
CNN’s Kaitlan Collins reported on Twitter that the two met and it was “contentious,” and the meeting led Trump “to erupt.” But, she said, the president “wasn’t screaming.” Gee, it’s pretty bizarre that we have such an angry president that the good news is that he wasn’t screaming.
Trump and Barr had a “contentious” meeting Tuesday after the attorney general told the AP the Justice Department uncovered no evidence of fraud that would change the election outcome, which led Trump to erupt. It was angry, but a person familiar says Trump wasn’t screaming.

We’re not sure how Barr can get back into Trump’s good graces again. Barr has basically served as Trump’s protector instead of the United States Attorney General. However, Trump excels at holding a grudge.
Trump’s Republican enablers have remained silent as attorneys have presented the most legit crazy pieces of “evidence” complete with typos. In one case, ex-Trump attorney Sydney Powell’s witness referred to voter fraud in a county that, well, doesn’t exist. And of course, there’s Lin Wood, who seems to be trying to get attention — or perhaps the president’s attention. Wood wants to be the most MAGA attorney ever. So, it wouldn’t surprise me if Trump replaces Barr with Sydney Powell or Lin Wood. That would be so 2020. We only have 48 days until Trump leaves the White House. Hang in there, you guys.
