Former President Donald Trump unleashed an incredibly bonkers statement on Monday and just wants you to know that 45,000 people attended his rally in Sarasota over the weekend. While The Guardian reported that the event was expected to draw several thousand people, the Herald-Tribune reported after the rally that officials had estimated the crowd “numbered in the thousands.” Trump is obsessed with the size of his crowds. Trump had previously claimed that he had the largest inauguration crowd in history, and of course, that’s not true.
Trump insisted in his statement that his supporters “waited for days standing in the pouring rain” to hear him speak. Trump said, “their arms are outstretched, they cry over the Rigged Election.”
“We will never save our Country or be great again unless Republicans get TOUGH and get SMART!” he added.

The election wasn’t rigged, and the twice-impeached one-term president knows it. He just can’t accept that he lost in both the electoral and popular vote to Joe Biden. That defeat caused Trump to sustain a massive public narcissistic injury. He is a shameless liar that will never, ever change. I just don’t understand why Trump has any support left whatsoever. I’ll never get why they are blindly following a mentally ill man.
