Yesterday, the New York Times broke reporting that the Manhattan grand jury has officially voted in favor of formally indicting former United States President Donald J. Trump on criminal charges related to the infamous Stormy Daniels hush money payments.

Multiple developments have come out in the hours since the news of the indictment broke, including a bombshell development reported on by the Wall Street Journal confirming that testimony delivered to the grand jury by witness David Pecker has “tied Mr. Trump directly to the payment to Ms. McDougal and to an alleged broader scheme to suppress negative stories about Mr. Trump during his 2016 presidential campaign, according to some of the people familiar with the matter.”

As it stands, it already seems that scandal-ridden former President Donald Trump has been implicated in far more criminal activity than we realized.

Now, an individual with inside knowledge of the matter has spoken with Bloomberg News and confirmed that the scandal-ridden, disgraced former president will face arraignment in the criminal charges against him on Tuesday of this coming week.

The publication reports:

The former president will hear the charges brought by Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg and will enter a plea of not guilty at a hearing at the New York State Supreme courthouse in lower Manhattan on Tuesday at 2:15, said the person, who asked not to be identified discussing details that haven’t yet been announced.”

This bombshell development comes amid additional reporting that law enforcement officials in Manhattan are now working diligently to combat the very real security risks and concerns that are all but guaranteed to come with this historical indictment and the legal processes that come with it.

Bloomberg reports that law enforcement officials will meet with the likes of the New York Police Department, the Secret Service, New York state court officials and court officers, and representatives of Alvin Bragg’s office on Friday, ahead of the Trump arraignment, to discuss security measures in Manhattan, as the former president has spent weeks now stoking violence among his supporters.

The publication confirms, “The plans are currently to close down Centre Street, where the courthouse is located, and Baxter Street, which runs behind it, to all vehicles.”
