President Donald Trump’s sleazy son Don Jr. is so cheap that he couldn’t even be bothered to pay for his own girlfriend’s birthday party himself, instead getting campaign donors to do it for him.
Don Jr. left his former wife and the mother of his children to begin a relationship with ex-Fox News personality Kimberly Guilfoyle, who not only has gone all-in on the conning of America for her boyfriend’s daddy, she’s also adopted the Trump family’s grifter lifestyle.
When my wife’s birthday is coming up, I plan the celebration myself and I pay for it. That’s what spouses and significant others do for the one they love.
But when Don Jr. took Guilfoyle to Mar-a-Lago for her $50,000 party, he didn’t pay a cent.

According to the New York Times:
[W]hen it came to picking up the tab, hands went out to other attendees. Among them were at least four whose families are financial supporters of the president’s re-election campaign, for which Ms. Guilfoyle helps lead the fund-raising. They ended up pitching in tens of thousands of dollars, passed along to Mar-a-Lago, to help pay for what two people familiar with the planning said was a $50,000 celebration.”
The Trumps personally profited off of Guilfoyle’s own birthday party, a party that Don Jr. should have been responsible for paying for instead of saddling campaign donors with the cost.
“This may not be illegal, but it is incredibly unethical,” Campaign Legal Center’s Brendan Fischer told the newspaper.
Indeed, it’s pretty clearly a violation of the Emoluments clause as well. If Trump were not president, donors would not be spending money at his properties in an effort to curry favor. However, it could be worse. After all, at least taxpayer dollars were not used to pay for the party. Or were they?
Trump himself also attended the festivities at Mar-a-Lago, where he exposed himself and others to the coronavirus. That means Secret Service were on the clock and acted as security for the event. And those costs are paid for by taxpayers.
Just when you thought this family couldn’t sink any lower…
