Disgraced former NY police commissioner Bernard Kerik, who was sentenced to four years in prison in 2010 after pleading guilty to eight felony charges for offenses including failure to pay taxes, and was later pardoned by former President Donald Trump, is trying to fundraise for Rudy Giuliani whose law license was recently suspended in New York for “false and misleading” statements to courts. Kerik’s tweet links to the “Rudy Giuliani Freedom Fund” that blames that “deep state” for Giuliani’s misdeeds, and it claims that the “swamp is revolting.”
Maggie Haberman of the New York Times weighed in to point out the obvious.
