Americans Furious As First GOP Senator Officially Announces He Will Try To Block Joe Biden’s Electoral Certification

Donald Trump and his dangerous Republican enablers are claiming the election was stolen even though that has been rejected by the Department of Justice, Republican state election officials, multiple Trump-appointed judges, recounting and auditing efforts in several states and counties — and Senate majority Leader Mitch McConnell has recognized Joe Biden’s landslide victory.

Still, Sen. Josh Hawley (R-MO) on Wednesday marked himself as the first senator to officially announce that he will formally object to Biden’s certification of the Electoral College results when it is presented to Congress.

“I cannot vote to certify the electoral college results on January 6 without raising the fact that some states, particularly Pennsylvania, failed to follow their own state election laws,” Hawley said in a statement.

That didn’t go down well on Twitter.

With a narcissist, every accusation is a confession. So, when Trump says the election was stolen, he’s trying to steal it from President-elect Joe Biden, who got 81,283,485 votes from the American people. He’s trying to steal the election from you and me. From the majority of American voters. And Republicans are helping him.
