Colorado Republican Congresswoman Lauren Boebert — who’s already steeped in an ocean of controversy and scandal ranging from her nasty divorce, to her son’s crime spree and arrest, to her infamous Beetlejuice fiasco — just got some more brutally bad news after her beloved Dear Leader Donald Trump finally threw his public endorsement behind her congressional reelection run, only for his devout MAGA crowd to absolutely revolt against the congresswoman that they dubbed “disgraceful” and “gutter trash.”
Equally scandal-plagued former president and 2024 presumptive Republican nominee Donald Trump released his full-throated endorsement of the congresswoman known for allegedly performing adult sexual acts in a crowded family theater, to his Truth Social account.
“Congresswoman Lauren Boebert is a Proven Conservative and Effective Leader who delivers for Colorado, and our America First agenda,” Trump wrote in his post. “She has led the fight to Impeach Joe Biden, Stop Illegal Immigration, Defend the Second Amendment, Protect our Wonderful Ranchers and Farmers, Support our Military and Veterans, Secure our Natural Resources to Pursue Energy Dominance, and Stand Up to the Radical Democrats who want to Destroy our Beautiful Country. Congresswoman Lauren Boebert is a trusted America First Fighter, and has my Complete and Total Endorsement for Colorado’s 4th Congressional District!”

It certainly should have been a day of celebration and rejoicing for Lauren, who’s been consistently struggling in her reelection campaign, despite making a sudden district switch in her state of Colorado, in an effort to find an even more staunchly Conservative, Right-wing crowd to carry her through to another term in the midst of her neverending scandals.
However, her moment was extremely short-lived as Donald’s base of supporters — many of which are a crossover of the very same supporters she needs in Colorado — were not nearly as welcoming of the congresswoman who can’t seem to keep her hands to herself.
Trump’s comments section — even on his Truth Social platform, which has been heavily conditioned to feature almost nothing but love and admiration for him and everything he says — was chock full of his own MAGA fans expressing their distaste and disgust not only with Lauren but with Donald’s public endorsement of her reelection campaign:
Really not a good look for either of them at this point.
