Bill Barr Appears To Be Fed Up, Brutally Fires Back At Trump’s Onslaught Of Insults In New Fox Interview That’s Guaranteed To Send Ex-President’s Head Spinning

Oof. That's BRUTAL, Donnie.

In a portion of his unhinged weekend tirade on Truth Social that leaked into the early hours of Labor Day morning yesterday, Donald Trump set his aim on his own former Attorney General Bill Barr, dubbing the former DOJ head as a “RINO” — a nickname Trump uses for people he has categorized as a “Republican in name only.”

Of course, this is far from the first time (or the last, if we’re being honest) that Trump has set his sights on his own former AG. But this time, Bill Barr is firing back, and Donald isn’t going to like it one bit.

Barr, who spearheaded the US Department of Justice under both Donald Trump’s presidential administration as well as George H.W. Bush’s, was labeled a “weak and pathetic RINO” by the washed-up, scandal-ridden 45th president in his weekend Truth Social rant, due to Barr’s recent public comments that there was simply “no legitimate reason” why Donald Trump should be in possession of highly-classified, top-secret, and federally-protected government documents at his Palm Beach compound turned post-White House personal residence.

Barr sat down for an interview on today’s edition of The Story with Martha MacCallum, where the host brought up the topic of Donald Trump’s weekend mental bender, and whether the ex-president’s barrage of insults and attacks had ruffled the former attorney general’s feathers at all.

But not only did Barr ultimately say that he was unbothered by Trump’s rant, he seemed to go so far as to kind of underhandedly make fun of the former guy — which we all know good and well is going to send Donald’s fragile but humongous ego into a frantic tailspin.

“No, I’ve heard that a lot,” Barr answered while quite literally laughing out loud. “A RINO for him is anyone who disagrees with him that the election was stolen, right? That’s a RINO.”

“As someone who handed out Barry Goldwater literature when I was 14 years old on the Upper West Side, it’s a little silly,” the former AG added.

Trump has been peddling his Big Lie regarding the 2020 presidential election and his false claims of widespread voter fraud and nationwide cheating that secured Biden’s win ever since the moment he realized he lost to his Democratic opponent — despite the fact that an investigation conducted by his own DOJ determined that his claims were false and had no evidence whatsoever to back them up.

Trump’s dedication to the Big Lie is so strong, still to this day, that many of his endorsements of GOP candidates are based almost solely on whether or not the Republican in question has publicly supported his 2020 election claims.
