South Carolina Senator Lindsey Graham isn’t the only one being handed some brutal losses in the Fulton County Georgia District Attorney’s grand jury investigation into Donald Trump and his “people’s” apparent attempts to meddle in the state’s presidential election in an effort to overturn Joe Biden’s win in the traditionally Red state.

According to breaking reporting from CNN, Former Trump chief of staff Mark Meadows has now officially been ordered by a South Carolina judge to testify in the Fulton County grand jury criminal investigation into the alleged Trump World plot to overthrow the results of the 2020 presidential election in the state of Georgia — in connection to the infamous “find the votes” scandal.

CNN’s report confirms that Judge Edward Miller, a sitting member of the Court of Common Pleas in Pickens County, South Carolina, ultimately served Meadows a brutal and humiliating loss in the case, when Miller smacked down the former Trump chief of staff’s claims that testifying in the criminal grand jury investigation would cause him “undue hardship. All said and done, Judge Miller ruled that there was no merit to Meadows’ claims or excuses to not comply with the testimony.

Anna Bower, who writes for Lawfare Blog and has been closely following the case, did note that Mark Meadows will still have the opportunity to push back against Miller’s ruling through an appeal process with the South Carolina state appellate court before he testifies.

Meadows was, undeniably, a key player in Donald Trump’s increasingly unhinged efforts to remain in power, despite his clear-cut presidential election loss, and therefore the former chief of staff has also become a key witness regarding the incident in the multiple various probes and investigations that have now been launched over the matter.

The former Trump chief of staff was actually somewhat cooperative with the January 6th House Select Committee’s investigation into the matter, during its early days, however, his agreeability was quick to fade out as Meadows began to refuse to turn over documents and evidence that was requested by the committee, citing supposed violations of Donald Trump’s right to executive privilege.

The Committee ended up referring Meadows to the Department of Justice for criminal contempt charges over his failure to cooperate past the early stage of their investigation, but the DOJ ultimately declined to charge Meadows, on the basis that he did at least cooperate partially at one point.
