Another one bites the dust.

In case you hadn’t realized, the January 6th House Select Committee is not messing around. I believe they know they’re on a time crunch with the upcoming midterm elections just around the corner (and the possibility of losing the House looming over their heads) and they know there’s a whole lot to be found when it comes to the connection between former President Trump, a slew of Republicans, and the violent insurrection.

Suffice it to say, they’re not wasting any time, they’re not leaving any stone unturned.

And one of those stones happens to be the pillow guy, Mike Lindell.

CNBC now reports that the staunch Trump ally and MyPillow CEO has revealed that his phone records have officially been subpoenaed by the January 6th House Select Committee, in connection to their deep investigation into the infamous Capitol riot.

To make matters that much worse, the revelation comes close on the heels of CNBC’s recent report that Lindell had spent a staggering $25 million since election day to peddle his false, disproven claims of widespread voter fraud.

In a text message sent to the news outlet on Wednesday, Lindell said, ” I wasn’t there on January 6th and yes they did subpoena my phone records but we filed a complaint for declaratory and injunctive relief against the January 6th committee and Verizon to completely invalidate this corrupt subpoena.”

Lindell later gave a phone interview with CNBC, during which he claimed to have filed the legal complaint yesterday in a federal court in Minneapolis. He claimed to have received a notice regarding the subpoena from Verizon no more than 10 days ago and stated that he was informed of the committee’s desire to get his phone records starting from November, into the early days of January.

A representative for the House Committee declined to comment on the subpoena while press representatives for Verizon did not return any requests for comments.

Lindell, of course, is just one of many Trump allies and insiders to find their cell phone records splayed out for the January 6th Committee, joining the likes of former Trump national security advisor Mike Flynn and former White House advisor Sebastian Gorka. Many of those on the receiving end of these subpoenas have desperately attempted to stall or destroy them through various lawsuits and even restraining orders.

The MyPillow CEO continues to assert that he was not involved in any way with the Capitol insurrection or the events surrounding it, but multiple reports and sources have placed Lindell at various pro-Trump events in the days leading up to the siege.

CNBC reports, “Multiple people have claimed that Lindell met at the Trump International Hotel in Washington D.C. on Jan. 5, alongside other Trump allies, including former advisor Peter Navarro, attorney Rudy Giuliani and Sen. Tommy Tuberville, R-Ala., to discuss election-related matters.”
