Donald Trump predictably went off the rails over President Joe Biden’s remarks on Thursday, the anniversary of the Jan. 6 attack on the U.S. Capitol. Biden tore him into tiny pieces without mentioning Trump by name, called out his lies, and called him a defeated President. And make no mistake about it, Trump had this coming. The twice-impeached one-term President has shamelessly continued to propagate his big lie that led to the deadly insurrection.

Trump did not take Biden’s speech very well. The former President released a statement tweeted out by his spokesperson Liz Harrington to circumvent his ban on the behemoth social site.

“Biden, who is destroying our Nation with insane policies of open Borders, corrupt Elections, disastrous energy policies, unconstitutional mandates, and devastating school closures, used my name today to try to further divide America,” Trump said even though Biden did not mention Trump’s name.

Trump went on to falsely claim that “our country no longer has borders” and called out what he calls the “Unselect Committee” that’s investigating the attack that the former President incited. He said the committee is full of “totally partisan hacks,” even though two Republicans sit on the panel. And once again, he called Election Day “the big lie” in a classic case of projection.

“The Democrats want to own this day of Jan. 6 so they can stoke fears and divide America,” he insisted. “I say, let them have it because America sees through theirs [sic] lies and polarizations.”

You can read the full statement below:

Well, that’s quite the pity party Trump threw for himself and his staunch supporters. Seven hundred thirty-seven individuals were charged for their alleged crimes on Jan. 6 last year. At least 140 police officers were injured when Trump supporters assaulted them, some of them beaten with flag poles. But sure, Trump is the real victim here, even though he attempted a coup. As far as dividing this country, the former President did that a year ago when he incited the deadly insurrection.
