A Republican candidate in Michigan was dealt a significant blow by his own daughter when she implored voters not to elect him.
Robert Regan is running to be a state representative, but his campaign hit quite a speed bump when his daughter Stephanie Regan took to Twitter to oppose him, though not directly by name at first.

“I am happy that she feels confident enough in our relationship to express her opposing thoughts so publicly,” he wrote.
Yeah, he’s so “happy” about it that his daughter expressed her fear over speaking out any further than confirming who her father is.
Since so many people are asking it is Robert Regan! Do a quick fb or google search to find info about his campaign. I don’t feel safe rn sharing further information regarding his beliefs, but please look him up and just read for yourself.

It turns out that Regan is a hardcore Trump supporter who thinks racism and white privilege don’t exist.
During an interview with The Hill, Regan attacked his daughter for going to college, where her political views evolved after having been held hostage by her dad’s right-wing extremism as she grew up.
“A lot of students when they go off to these liberal university campuses, like the University of Colorado, the University of Texas and Austin — and she went to the University of Colorado in Boulder — and you know, they just kind of get sucked into this Marxist, communist ideology and she and I just don’t see eye to eye when it comes to the whole socialism, communism, Marxist philosophy,” Regan complained before letting his racist flag fly.
“The only place where I really see systemic racism would be the abortion clinic cause they seem to target the African American community,” he said. “I don’t buy into this whole systemic racism thing at all.”
He even tried to play the victim card.
“I’m not saying there’s not hurdles to overcome. We all have hurdles to overcome,” he continued. “You know, as a quote-unquote rich, white, Christian male, people look at me a certain way. And it’s not always good. So, everybody has obstacles to overcome.”
Yeah, Michigan voters should listen to Regan’s daughter and send him packing in defeat.
And just in case you don’t have time to look up Regan’s campaign stances, one Twitter user summed it up with approval from Stephanie Regan herself.

It sounds like Robert Regan tried to brainwash his kids into accepting right-wing ideology and failed so miserably that they are speaking out against him and his hate. Michigan voters should listen and do what’s best for their state so that Regan does not have the chance to do the same to them.
