A new court filing obtained and reported on by the Detroit Free Press has revealed deeply disturbing new information in the case of Ethan Crumbley, the 15-year-old Michigan high schooler who opened fire inside his Oxford high school, killing four innocent human beings and injuring seven others.
The new court filing reportedly contains some of the teen’s deeply troubling journal entries, which revealed that Ethan Crumbley had apparently hoped that his heinous school massacre would serve to get President Joe Biden impeached from office, while his parents allegedly feared that politics would harm their chances at getting a fair trial for their role in the deadly attack.
The Detroit Free Press reports that the court filing reveals Crumbley had laid out a “detailed plan” for his massacre, and the journal entries featured heavy usage of slurs and insults against President Joe Biden that were made popular by his scandal-ridden predecessor, ex-President Donald Trump.
“Hopefully my shooting will cause Biden to get impeached,” Ethan Crumbley reportedly wrote in his journal. “Sleepy f*cking Joe Biden will have to make an apolg(y) to people.”

The teen shooter’s parents, Jennifer and James Crumbley, are currently facing charges of involuntary manslaughter in connection to their role in their son’s deadly actions — including purchasing and gifting the teen with the firearm he used to open fire on his high school and regularly ignoring the numerous warning signs that their son was soon to commit a fatal violent act. The parents’ attorneys have now argued that the inclusion of the teen’s journal entries into the case makes room for politics to be unfairly brought into Jennifer and James’ trial. The legal teams argued that, should Ethan’s journal entries be submitted into evidence, jurors could be skewed by their personal support for either Joe Biden or Donald Trump.
“The materials risk the danger of turning jury deliberations into a political debate,” the Crumbleys’ defense team wrote. “It would also be likely to lead to longer deliberations and possibly an endless string of hung juries, as the likelihood that all jurors would have the same attitude about the anti-Biden diatribe of (Ethan) is surely close to zero.”
Back in 2016, Ethan’s mother Jennifer penned a now-infamous open letter of gratitude for Donald Trump over his support for gun rights in the US.
“You made the famous ‘grab them in the p*ssy’ comment, did it offend me? No,” Jennifer’s open letter to Trump read. “I say things all the time that people take the wrong way, do I mean them, not always. Do I agree that you should of [sic] shown your tax returns? No. I don’t care what you do or maybe don’t pay in taxes, I think those are personal and if the Gov’t can lock someone up over $10,000 of unpaid taxes and you slipped on by, then that shows the corruption.”
The new court filing also revealed the use of numerous racial slurs in Ethan’s journal entries, as well as heated complaints about his parents, teachers, school administrators, and classmates.
“The first victim has to be a pretty girl with a future so she can suffer just like me,” one of Ethan’s disturbing journal entries reads. “I will cause the biggest school shooting in Michigan’s history. I will kill everyone I f*cking see. I have fully mentally lost it after years of fighting my dark side. My parents won’t listen to me about help or a therapist.”
Attorneys for Jennifer and James maintain that Ethan’s parents were unaware of their son’s violent journal entries, however, text messages have already proven that Ethan Crumbley approached his parents for help with his mental health and he felt as though they did not care.
“They make me feel like I’m the problem,” Ethan wrote in a text message he sent to a friend. “My mom makes everyone feel like a piece of sh*t. I actually asked my dad to take me to the doctor the other day, and he just gave me some pills and said to ‘suck it up.’ My mom laughed when I told her.”
