As if the scandal surrounding the US Secret Service and the January 6th Capitol insurrection weren’t already bad enough, emails have now been obtained hailing from the federal law enforcement agency that operates under the Department of Homeland Security by the Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington (CREW,) showing that the Secret Service was fully aware of a credible threat made against Democratic House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, yet they neglected to inform the Capitol police of the threat until hours after the Capitol had been breached.
CREW reports that Secret Service agents discovered a Parler account on January 4th, 2021, (CREW has opted to not release the name or identity of the account in question in their report on the matter) that posted a long string of violent, credible threats against numerous lawmakers and high-profile Democrats, including the Speaker of the House. Twitter, MeWe, Bitchute, Youtube, and Facebook also featured profiles going by the same name with posts containing the same violent, threatening rhetoric.
According to the report, the account made a post on December 31st, reading, “January 6 starts #1776 all over again…Fight for EVERYTHING.” They went on to post their “enemies,” including Pelosi.
CREW reveals that Capitol police did not receive information regarding the threatening post from the Secret Service until 5:55 pm on January 6th, hours after they defended the nation’s Capitol building on the front lines from a violent mob of Donald Trump’s rabid, unhinged supporters.

Along with the offending post, Capitol police received a message from the Secret Service reading:
Good afternoon, The US Secret Service is passing notification to the US Capitol Police regarding discovery of a social media threat directed toward Speaker Nancy Pelosi.”
CREW notes in their report, “The language used by the account, as we’ve now seen repeated in recordings released by the January 6th Committee, is a clear call for a violent overthrow of the American government on January 6, 2021.”
Unfortunately, the aforementioned post was far from the only one that featured such violent, threatening, and dangerous rhetoric that was discovered by the US Secret Service.
“TIPS FOR THE BRAVE AND COURAGEOUS PATRIOTS GOING TO DC TO FORCE CONGRESS TO REFUSE BIDEN’S RIGGED ELECTION,” a Twitter post from the same day as the threats against Nancy Pelosi read. The “tips” they mentioned in the tweet included extremist warnings such as “Keep MAGA gear hidden until AFTER checking in” at hotels, “DC is very BLUE and a hotbed for ANTIFA/BLM. Stay with the large group, especially at night,” and “be wary” of DC police officers.
As it grew nearer and nearer to the 6th of January, the posts became more and more unhinged, violent, and terrifyingly specific.
“Biden will die shortly after being elected,” a January 2nd post read. “Patriots are gonna tear his head off. Prison is his best case scenario.”
“We’re all on a mission to save America. Lone wolf attacks are the way to go,” the account wrote in an additional post on the same day. “Stay anonymous. Stay alive. Guns up Patriots!!”
It’s undeniable at this point that the corruption inside the US government spread far and wide beyond the Oval Office.
