I was beginning to think we may soon be coming up on a point where Donald Trump’s behavior and rhetoric regarding Russian dictatorial President Vladimir Putin just could not possibly get any worse. But I was so dead wrong, it’s not even funny.
You would honestly think that calling the literal dictator “savvy” and “genius” would be about as bad as it could get. But today, the disgraced, one-term, twice-impeached former president reminded us all once again that not only does he admire Putin, he honestly seems to believe that they’re pretty good pals. So much so, in fact, that Trump appears to be comfortable with publicly calling on the Russian dictator to pretty much do him a favor, amid the raging war Putin is waging in Ukraine, and produce/release some dirt on Donnie’s perceived political enemies — again.
Allow me to gently remind you all that Trump was quite literally impeached during his presidential term for his unhinged and illegal efforts to procure political dirt against then-opponent Joe Biden, pretty much through whatever means necessary; extortion included. And now, despite the fact that he’s nearly a year and a half out from his presidential term that ended in a blaze of shame and humiliation, Trump is obviously still itching for that “dirt.”
In a new interview with the Right-wing Real American Voice, the former United States President publicly called on Russian President Vladimir Putin to release any information he may have pertaining to President Biden’s son, Hunter Biden, and his alleged relationship and international business dealings with Yelena Baturina, a Russian oligarch who was once married to the mayor of Moscow.

“She gave him $3.5 million so now I would think Putin would know the answer to that, I think he should release it,” Trump said in the interview. “I think we should know that answer.”
Of course, this is far from the first time Donald has called on his favorite dictator to do him a solid and release political dirt that would serve in Trump’s favor. Back in 2016, Trump publicly pressured Russia to release any and all emails they had procured by hacking his then-Democratic opponent Hillary Clinton’s private email server that she used for official State Department business.
In addition to Trump’s public call to action, his son Don Jr., son-in-law Jared Kushner, and former campaign chairman Paul Manafort also allegedly met directly with a Russian operative who promised dirt on Hillary Clinton.
Russian intelligence services went on to leak emails through WikiLeaks that had been hacked from the Democratic National Committee as well as the Clinton campaign, in an effort to damage Hillary’s presidential run — all of which Donald Trump openly encouraged.
