Suffice it to say that Donald Trump’s entire life and facade are rapidly crumbling all around him, with no real end in sight, and he’s not handling that fact very well at all.
Yesterday morning, the media cycle was ablaze with reporting on a bombshell meeting between the scandal-ridden former president’s legal team and officials with the US Department of Justice. Multiple reports indicated that Donald Trump’s lawyers were informed by the DOJ that yet another historical federal indictment against the disgraced ex-president was no long a matter of if, but of when. At the same time, reports rolled in noting that a Washington D. C. grand jury was convening and an additional indictment related to Trump’s role in the January 6th insurrection was as imminent as ever.
But nevertheless, the former president tried desperately to keep up his facade of the persecuted innocent.
Taking to his Truth Social platform, the scandal-plagued former president publicly addressed the reports regarding the meeting between his legal team and DOJ officials, calling it a “productive meeting” with the Special Counsel’s investigators.

“My attorneys had a productive meeting with the DOJ this morning, explaining in detail that I did nothing wrong, was advised by many lawyers, and that an Indictment of me would only further destroy our Country,” Trump wrote in a Truth Social post yesterday afternoon.
Attempting a bit of damage control against the news cycle, Donald added, “No indication of notice was given during the meeting — Do not trust the Fake News on anything!”
But it looks like the big guy was ultimately full of shit yet again, as bombshell news broke this morning that Donald Trump was, in fact, indicted yet again by the DOJ and Special Counsel Smith, this time with criminal charges alleging the former president and two co-conspirators, his body man Walt Nauta and maintenance worker Carlos De Oliveira, colluded to delete incriminating security footage from the premises of his Mar-a-Lago resort turned post-White House home, as part of their larger plot to obstruct the Justice Department’s investigation into Trump’s crimes of stealing, retaining, relocating, and hiding hundreds upon hundreds of classified government documents and materials.
This opened all three of them to criminal charges of obstruction.
