Fauci Is Still Most Trusted In Coronavirus Response While Kushner And Trump Are Dead Last

This is going to upset Diaper Don in a bad sort of way.

As Trump retweets posts on Twitter indicating that a termination of employment may be in the future for Dr. Anthony Fauci, a new poll indicates that the director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases is still the most trusted leader in the United States regarding the outbreak of coronavirus, and in which Donald and his dimwitted son-in-law are coming in dead last.

The new poll from Business Insider found that when it comes to trust the American people have in the forefront responders to the pandemic, Dr. Fauci and New York Governor Andrew Cuomo are still coming out on top.

The poll asked participants to rate a list of 10 “top Trump administration officials and governors on trustworthiness.”

Insider says they told respondents, “When it comes to the official advice regarding coronavirus, please rate how much you trust the following messengers on a scale on 1 to 5.”

They go on to explain, “According to our poll, 1 means strongly distrust, 2 means somewhat distrust, 3 means neither trust nor distrust, 4 means somewhat trust, and 5 means strongly trust. Participants were asked to mark ‘NA’ if they were unfamiliar with the person.”

According to the report on the poll, the individuals with the highest ratings were Dr. Fauci, who has been a strong voice throughout this pandemic and has repeatedly refused to bow to Trump’s repeated attempts at misinforming the American public, and the New York governor who’s been fighting tooth and nail to battle what is now the epicenter of the outbreak in the United States with next to no help from the president.

At the very bottom of the list, with the lowest rankings, were Donald Trump and his son-in-law, Jared Kushner — neither of whom know their assholes from their elbows when it comes to a pandemic, and it seems the American public knows that.

Fauci landed a score of 3.96 out of 5 and Cuomo raked in a 3.31. Trump and Kushner, on the other hand, scored a 2.48 and 2.35, respectively.

Other public figures who were ranked in the poll include Global health ambassador Deborah Birx, California Gov. Gavin Newsom, Secretary of Health and Human Services Alex Azar, Former Vice President Joe Biden, Vice President Mike Pence, and Treasury Secretary Steve Mnuchin, although perhaps the fact that Trump has the most outsized effect on what happens — and he’s a moron — has something to do with making the rest of them look so good.
