As more candidates begin to throw their hats into the impending 2024 presidential election ring, First Lady Dr. Jill Biden spoke with the Associated Press and effectively threw cold water on any fears that her husband may step down as the incumbent Democratic presidential candidate, as we get closer and closer to the crucial 2024 race.

According to Dr. Biden, Joe is already gearing up to officially announce his 2024 presidential candidacy.

“He says he’s not done,” First Lady Biden said in remarks to the Associated Press during her five-day trip to Africa. “He’s not finished what he’s started. And that’s what’s important.”

The first lady doubled down again when she told reporters, “How many times does he have to say it for you to believe it?”

The report confirms that sources close to President Biden say that his official 2024 presidential campaign announcement can likely be expected in April, following the end of the first fundraising quarter.

Reporters attempted to pelt the first lady with questions about whether or not she played any role or influence in her husband’s decision regarding a second White House run, but Jill ignored those questions and did not provide an answer on the matter.

President Biden has yet to officially announce his 2024 presidential candidacy or publicly commit to any plans or campaigns regarding the next election cycle. However, it’s widely expected that his official campaign launch will come sooner than later, as the potential presidential pool begins to fill up. Biden’s predecessor, scandal-ridden former President Donald Trump, announced his official candidacy for his 3rd consecutive White House run late last year as currently stands as the Republican ticket frontrunner, but his first place position is expected to be short-lived, as the likes of Nikki Haley have already tossed their hat into the ring, and GOP golden child Ron DeSantis is expected to soon follow — who many believe will quickly unseat the former president.

Biden is expected to run on his boisterous political record with 2 years of his presidency under his belt, during which he’s broken job and economy records, brought an end to the US presence in Afghanistan and effectively closed the door on the decades-long war, pulled in Western support in an allyship with Ukraine against the ongoing Russian invasion, and guided the nation through the COVID-19 pandemic following the disastrous state left behind by Donald Trump.

However, there is no denying the questions and concerns surrounding Joe Biden’s advanced age and there’s certainly no denying that the Right-wing talking points surrounding Biden’s mental cognizance will serve as a major point of contention throughout the campaign.
