Former FBI Official Points Out What We’ve All Been Thinking: Nuclear Docs Taken By Trump Would Pull A High Price If Someone Wanted To Sell Out The US

We've been thinking this all along...

In the days and weeks since the news broke of the FBI search and seizure warrant raid at Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago resort turned post-White House personal place of residence, we’ve not only learned that the warrant was issued on the basis of the countless boxes of highly-classified documents that the ex-president stole from the US government, but that FBI agents actually looked for and seized documents that pertained to a foreign country’s nuclear capabilities.

Trump wasted no time in pushing back against the original reports about the possibility of nuclear documents at his Palm Beach estate, calling it a “hoax,” which ultimately made him look all the guiltier when The Washington Post reported that the records found at Mar-a-Lago described detailed operations “so closely guarded that many senior national security officials are kept in the dark about them,” and “only the president, some members of his Cabinet, or a near-Cabinet-level official could authorize other government officials to know details of these special-access programs.”

Now, former FBI official Frank Figliuzzi is pointing out what we’ve all been thinking this whole time — what Trump was in possession of could be worth a hell of a lot of dough.

Figliuzzi’s remarks came during an appearance on MSNBC with host Stephanie Ruhle, who asked the former FBI official for his thoughts on a motive behind the former president’s madness.

“If I were to be asked what the highest price tag or highest value might be on what kind of classified US government information, certainly among the top of my answers would be: nuclear-related information,” he responded.

“Well, first, a country would give its right arm to learn what the US knew about its nuclear program and capabilities, not only for the obvious reason of, ‘Hey, they figured this out,’ but also because it would signal what we don’t know about their program,” Frank explained, adding, “Secondly, let’s move to that country’s adversary. They would give their left and right arms to find out what their adversary is doing in terms of nuclear capability.”

Frank went on to make note of the fact that, even beyond the monetary value of the documents, the material was being held at Mar-a-Lago, which boasts “some of the lowest security you can imagine,” with foreign nationals “traipsing in and out.”

Let’s be honest, we’ve been thinking this all along.
