Former Secret Service Agent Seems To Imply Donald Trump Is Too Fat To Have Reached The Steering Wheel In “The Beast” After Explosive Allegations

This week, we heard bombshell testimony from Cassidy Hutchinson, former White House aide to Trump’s Chief of Staff Mark Meadows, during the surprise January 6th hearing.

While Cassidy dropped many a revelation on the American people, the most staggering was her allegation that then-President Donald Trump actually got physical with his driver following his infamous Stop The Steal rally, upon learning that he would not be able to go to the Capitol with his mob of supporters.

According to Hutchinson’s testimony, Trump became so “furious” when he entered his motorcade car, “The Beast,” only to be told that his plan to march down to the Capitol building with his crowd would not be possible. Cassidy testified that Trump became irate and screamed, “I’m the fucking president! Take me to the Capitol NOW!”

But it gets worse…

Cassidy went on to testify that Trump grabbed the steering wheel and lunged at his driver, Bobby Engel, as he violently demanded to be taken to the Capitol.

Ms. Hutchinson stated that Tony Oranto, the Secret Service agent then in charge of Trump’s detail, immediately recalled the assault to her after it happened.

“I noticed the head of Mr. Trump’s security detail sitting in a chair, looking somewhat discombobulated, a little lost,” Hutchinson testified. “I looked at Tony, he said, “did you hear what happened?” I said, “No, Tony, I just got back, what happened?”

“Tony proceeded to tell me that when the president got in, he was under the impression that the off-the-record movement to the Capitol was still possible and likely to happen,” Hutchinson’s testimony continued. “As the president had gotten into the vehicle with Bobby, he thought they were going up to the Capitol. When Bobby relayed to him that we are not, we do have the assets to do it, it is not secure, we are going back to the West Wing, the president had a very strong and very angry response to that.”

She went on to state that Trump “said something to the effect of “I’m the effing president, take me up to the Capitol now,” to which Bobby responded, “We have to go back to the West Wing.”

“The president reached up to the front of the vehicle to grab at the steering wheel. Mr. Engel grabbed his arm, said, ‘Sir, you need to take your hand off the steering wheel, we are going back to the West Wing, we are not going to the Capitol.’ Mr. Trump then used his free hand to launch toward Bobby Engel,” Cassidy testified, noting that when Ornato “recounted the story towards me, he aimed toward his clavicle.”

Donald Trump’s driver, Engel, was allegedly in the room as Ornato relayed this incident to Hutchinson and did not “correct or disagree” with Oranto’s recounting, according to the former White House aide.

But now, one former Secret Service agent has spoken out to dispute Cassidy’s claims… But not in the way you might think.

Business Insider is out with a new article, quoting an anonymous former Secret Service agent who said it would be physically possible for the now ex-president to have reached up and grabbed the steering wheel in “The Beast,” because of Donald Trump’s “girth.”

Trump’s not a little guy, right? And the space to actually be able to lunge towards the wheel is not that big,” the former Secret Service agent told the publication. “I don’t mean to sound disparaging to the former president, but just his girth would prevent him from actually getting to the steering wheel.”

Well, folks… There you have it.
