GOP Rep. Claims Democrats Are Trying To Make America "Sexless And Godless," And We Couldn't Make This Up If We Tried

Rep. Madison Cawthorn (R-NC) warned of a “sexless” America in an appearance on One America News Network while launching a bizarre attack on Democrats Wednesday night. It seems fitting that he appeared on OAN since the network is being sued for its alleged “disinformation campaign” by voting software company Smartmatic.

“I’m telling you, when I see the people that are in Washington, DC who are trying to insert their woke politics into our culture, trying to destroy western civilization, trying to take all of our morality away from everyone, trying to make everyone genderless, sexless, and Godless,” the North Carolina Republican told host Dan Ball.

“We want our country back, we want our culture back, and if you want to stand in the way that, we will run you over,” Cawthorn said, and I believe that’s called a threat.

Democrats aren’t taking away your “morality,” Mr. Man. It’s the Republicans that voted for the most morally bankrupt president that we’ve ever had. As far as “wokeness” goes, Republicans are just launching another culture war. They have to be outraged about something, so Cawthorn insists that Democrats will make Republicans “sexless,” and that’s the most ridiculous claim that I’ve heard since former President Donald Trump released his last statement.

Trump claimed earlier this year that the Biden administration is “destroying” the country “with woke.” This buzzword is made-up outrage meant to rile up their base because the GOP has nothing policy-wise to offer. We want to make Congress Cawthorn-less, though. The divisive North Carolina Republican has nothing to offer his constituents. He’s only in Congress to stir up outrage. Republicans have indeed divided us to the point that I don’t see how it can be resolved. Would it be too “woke” of me to note that his threat of running us over is way out of order?
