Here’s A Look Back At All The Times Trump Embarrassed Himself And The Whole County During Visits With The Queen

Yesterday, the news broke that Britain’s Queen Elizabeth II, the country’s longest-reigning monarch, passed away peacefully at Balmoral Castle, her royal residence in Scotland where she spends her traditional summer retreat in the Scottish Highlands, at 96-years-old.

The royal family released a statement yesterday afternoon, confirming Her Majesty’s passing: “The Queen died peacefully at Balmoral this afternoon. The King and The Queen Consort will remain at Balmoral this evening and will return to London tomorrow.”

The news of Queen Elizabeth’s death yesterday afternoon came on the heels of early morning reports that the monarch’s health had taken a turn for the worst, and she was under close medical supervision by her doctors, as they had grown “concerned” for the 96-year-old monarch’s health.

“Following further evaluation this morning, The Queen’s doctors are concerned for Her Majesty’s health and have recommended she remain under medical supervision,” read a statement released by Buckingham Palace regarding Queen Elizabeth’s, Britain’s longest-reigning monarch, health early yesterday morning. “After a full day yesterday, Her Majesty has this afternoon accepted doctors’ advice to rest.”

The news of Her Majesty’s passing effectively rocked around the globe, as many a tribute was made to the Queen, while many others made note of the imperial classism her reigning signified.

Even scandal-ridden ex-President Trump was quick to hop on Truth Social with a statement on Queen Elizabeth II’s passing.

“Melania and I are deeply saddened to learn of the loss of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II. Together with our family and fellow Americans, we send our sincere condolences to the Royal Family and the people of the United Kingdom during this time of great sorrow and grief,” Trump (or someone on his behalf) penned on his floundering social media site.

However, all the words of condolence, thoughts, and prayers in the world don’t even begin to erase Donald Trump’s long-standing history of brutally embarrassing moments with the United Kingdom’s now-departed monarch.

During his presidency, Trump regularly touted not only his love and admiration for the Queen of England, but also the notion that the love and admiration were very much reciprocated back to him from Her Majesty. But a quick look back on some of Donald’s most notable moments with the monarch certainly leaves that up for debate, at the very least:

  • Trump’s Disregard For The Queen’s Time

Trump made his first notable visit to the UK and with the Royal Family back in 2019, where he managed to keep Her Majesty waiting in the summer heat for upwards of 15 minutes, as the then-president appeared to treat the monumental meeting much like he does his own rallies — anyone’s time but his own be damned.

Donald, of course, went on to claim that his late appearance wasn’t actually his fault, once the backlash started to ensue, instead insisting that the reports were “fake, fake, disgusting news” and he was actually 15 minutes early, but was forced to wait in his helicopter.

  • Donald’s Inability To Walk Like A Normal Human

No one will soon forget the massive faux pas committed by the then-sitting United States President when Donald Trump quite literally walked in front of Her Majesty (which is a huge no-no) when Queen Elizabeth took Trump to inspect the Coldstream Guards. Despite the fact that the monarch quite literally pointed to where Donald needed to stand, right beside her, she was ultimately forced to awkwardly walk out and around him as he aimlessly amble his way in front of Her Majesty, completely blocking her from view.

  • The Infamous Awkward Suit

While this one wasn’t a direct transgression against the Queen herself, it was certainly insulting to the cameras and every human being with functioning eyeballs when we witnessed Donald’s notoriously ill-fitting tuxedo during the State Banquet at Buckingham Palace. The whole thing was just… Wrong. On so many levels. Now, we don’t know if perhaps he just didn’t have time for a tailor, maybe he didn’t have the money for one, or perhaps he was trying to shove his overweight body in a suit that was two sizes too small in an effort to look slimmer, younger, and more virile. But whatever the reasoning was, the image of Donald Trump being likened to a bursting can of Pilsbury biscuits is forever burnt into our brains.

  • Donald’s Neverending Claims About How Much The Queen Loved Him

While this one also didn’t directly affect Her Majesty, it’s still noteworthy, in my opinion, because it’s trademarked Donald Trump malarkey if ever there were any. Trump simply loved to brag about how all of the world’s leaders are just simply and completely obsessed with him and love him bigly, more than they’ve ever loved anyone ever. The Queen was no exception to this delusion. Recently, Donald sat down for an interview with Right-wing jackass Piers Morgan, where he claimed “someone told him” Queen Elizabeth II of the United Kingdom has never had more of a heckin’ good time than she did during her state dinner with him. But don’t worry. Social media kept the receipts for that one.

Honestly, Donald, I’d give my condolences and sit this one out if I were you.
