House Dems Just Issued New Subpoenas For Major Trump Figures, POTUS Terrified

And they're just getting started.

While it’s certainly easy to get impatient with them these days, given everything that Donald Trump and his administration has done and continues to do, it’s important to remember that House Democrats are far from finished with this country’s sad excuse of a president.

Just because the Mueller report has concluded and Donald Trump and his cronies have continually attempted to make the heavily redacted 448-page report the end all be all, should “No collusion! No obstruction!” from every rooftop in sight does not, in any way, actually make it the end all be all.

In fact, it seems that House Democrats are just getting warmed up.

Of course, Congress has sent out dozens of subpoenas up to this point only for damn near every one of them to either be blatantly ignored, which is a direct act of Congressional contempt, or the witness shows up armed with a White House attorney and a whole lot of refusal to answer a damn thing. But that’s done nothing to slow them down. Congress is determined to get to the bottom of the scandal perpetrated by Donald Trump and his administration, and as such, they’ve issued yet another round of subpoenas in an attempt to get some answers.

The House Judiciary Committee held a vote today to authorize subpoenas for a number of different people that were mentioned in former Special Counsel Robert Mueller’s Russia investigation report.

All in all, the Committee has issued a subpoena for Trump’s son-in-law Jared Kushner and former Attorney General Jeff Sessions, as well as former White House chief of staff John Kelly, former national security adviser Michael Flynn, former Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein, former Trump campaign manager Corey Lewandowski, former deputy White House chief of staff Rick Dearborn, former White House staff secretary Rob Porter and Assistant Attorney General Jody Hunt. In addition, a subpoena was issued for Keith Davidson, Stormy Daniels’ former attorney.

“We will not rest until we obtain their testimony and documents so this committee and Congress can do the work the Constitution and the American people expect of us,” said Committee chair, Rep. Jerry Nadler.

Trump’s fear was on full display earlier today when he tweeted before the hearing even got started, “How many bites at the apple do they get? Enough already, go back to work!”

They’re far from done with you, Donnie boy. They’re just getting started.
