Interview Transcripts Released By AG in Ex-NY Governor Harassment Probe And They’re Beyond Disgusting

Oh. My. GOD.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again — just because someone’s voter registration has a checkmark beside the D for Democrat does not mean that they have our unwavering support. Unlike the MAGA cult, hive mind mentality that you see from the Republican party these days, we are more than willing to recognize when someone is a garbage human being, no matter which side of the political fence they’re on.

Andrew Cuomo is a prime example of exactly what I mean.

While the now-former governor of New York is on record as a Democrat, we have absolutely no issue in recognizing that he’s absolute trash.

Cuomo has found himself at the center of quite a scandal as numerous women who have been employed by him have broken their silence, telling of all the heinous, inappropriate, and downright gross sexual harassment they were forced to deal with at Cuomo’s hands.

Last July, Cuomo sat for 11 hours worth of interviews with investigators, in which he vehemently denied the mounting allegations against him. Now, hundreds of pages of transcripts from those interviews, as well as interviews of Cuomo’s alleged victims, have been released to the public by New York Attorney General Letitia James, and it’s frankly even worse than we expected.

HuffPost reports on the interview transcripts that contain tons of horror stories about a New York governor who regularly made nasty comments about womens’ appearance, asked wildly improper questions about sex, and gave out extremely inappropriate touches and kisses to people without their consent.

The majority of the allegations against the now-former governor, as well as his unhinged defense, were already public. However, these transcripts have given the American people a closer look into the heinous fine details of what Cuomo is being accused of.

In his transcripted defense, the ex-governor tried to claim that the allegations couldn’t possibly be true because he was too careful about his interactions with women, claiming he was under too much scrutiny by his enemies to have done what he stands accused of — including the allegations from aide Brittany Commisso, who alleged Cuomo once pulled her towards him and groped her breast in the governor’s mansion.

“Numerous people have tried to set me up,” Cuomo said. “I’m always wary of people. I have phenomenal precautions. It would be an act of insanity.”

Commisso told a far different story, saying that Cuomo regularly made distasteful comments about her appearance, referred to her as “honey,” and asked a lot of personal questions about her sex life. She claimed that when she would wear a dress to work instead of slacks, Cuomo would say it was “about time that you showed some leg.”

Commisso was far from the only person with virtually the same allegations against the ex-governor.

Former economic development official, Lindsey Boylan, who was the first to publicly speak out against Cuomo, said the ex-governor’s entire administration was “a terrible environment for everyone, whether they were sexually harassed or not.” However, she noted that it was the sexual harassment that spurred her to come forward. “If this was just a toxic work environment, we wouldn’t be sitting here.”

Boylan also claimed that Cuomo regularly made comments about her appearance, “constantly” ogled at her legs, and even once kissed her on the mouth without her consent.

The former official said Cuomo’s dog once climbed into her lap, only for the then-governor to state, “Well, if I was the dog, I’d mount you, too.”

To say that we’re sickened by Cuomo would be the understatement of the year. We have absolutely no room for people like him in the Democratic party. Try out Trump’s GOP, it certainly seems you’ll fit in far better over there.
