It Seems Even Trump’s Family May Be Abandoning Him As New Report Claims Donald Begged Ivanka And Jared To Join Him For His Campaign Launch But They Refused

They're not interested.

The New York Post is out with a rather damning new report this morning that appears to indicate that scandal-ridden ex-President Donald Trump is on the fast track to being wholly and completely abandoned when all the dust finally settles, by even his own closest family members.

Suffice it to say that the midterm elections have knocked Donald Trump down a couple of pegs. What he undoubtedly expected to be a landslide “Red Wave” ended up being little more than a complete humiliation for the Republican Party and, more specifically, the former president, who hand-picked and endorsed many of the GOP candidates who just lost their races to their Democratic opponents.

Just ahead of the midterm election, we reported on the claims from inside sources that Donald Trump was preparing to finally, formally announce his official 2024 campaign for the presidency hot on the heels of what he thought would be a landslide win for the Republican Party. Following the brutal election, speculations swirled as to whether the losses would throw a wrench in Donald Trump’s candidacy announcement plans.

Ultimately, it seems the former guy is going to march full steam ahead with his plans, in spite of all the humiliation. However, that doesn’t mean his “people” want anything to do with it.

According to the brutal new reporting, Donald Trump desperately tried to persuade his eldest daughter Ivanka and her husband Jared Kushner — both of whom served in high-level roles in Trump’s presidential Cabinet during his administration — to join him for his upcoming official campaign launch. However, both of them ultimately refused to participate.

An unnamed inside source spoke with the publication on the matter and said that Trump spent the majority of his time this weekend at his Mar-a-Lago resort for his daughter Tiffany’s wedding trying to coax and convince Jared and Ivanka to publicly join him for his big announcement. But the source says the couple was “holding firm” in their refusal.

As it stands, Trump is expected to finally make the big 2024 announcement from his scandal-ridden Palm Beach resort turned post-White House home this evening.

This morning, the former president took to his struggling Truth Social platform with yet another teaser about the impending announcement, writing, “Hopefully TODAY will turn out to be one of the most important days in the history of our Country!”

The inside source went on to tell the publication, “Trump thought he could convince Ivanka this weekend to come back and campaign for him as she was the most requested speaker after the president himself last time around.”

“But so far she’s resisting his entreaties and holding firm, as is Jared,” the insider added. “They both feel they got burned in Washington and don’t want to go back and expose themselves and their children to another bitter campaign.”

A separate source familiar with the family discussions spoke with CNN ahead of Tiffany Trump’s wedding and said that it was already well understood within the Trump family that Ivanka would not be getting involved or helping her father with his 2024 campaign.

Ever since Donald Trump’s humiliating 2020 demise, both Ivanka and Jared have heavily signaled that they want nothing to do with another Trump campaign.
