Ivanka And Jared Reportedly Made A High-Profile Come Back To Social Life, But Apparently People Just Wanted Them To Go Away

Go back in your hole.

Since her father’s humiliating departure from the White House, following his brutal 2020 election loss, Ivanka Trump and her husband Jared Kushner seemed to make a drastic pull back from the public eye — with many reports indicating that they just didn’t want to be associated with Donald Trump any more than they absolutely had to be, after his “Big Lie” conspiracy theories and countless failed lawsuits.

For nearly a year now, the only sightings we’ve really seen of the former First Daughter and her former Trump official hubby have been private family outings that just happened to be caught by the paparazzi — such as family trips to water parks or afternoons spent on a yacht.

However, it seems the formerly socialite pair have stayed hidden from the public eye for as long as they could handle, as a report from The Hollywood Reporter reveals Jared and Ivanka have officially stepped back out into the social scene with a major red carpet appearance at the recent Louis Vuitton show.

According to the report, the couple was spotted “mingling during the pre-show reception and noticed they had reserved seats in the front row, which also hosted a number of A-listers and bold-faced names like Kim Kardashian West, Kanye West (who now goes by Ye), Pharrell Williams, Bella Hadid and more.”

While I certainly can’t speak on Ivanka’s personal thoughts, I’ve got a feeling she expected it to be something of a big debut after spending nearly a year in virtual hiding, trying to shake off the embarrassment of her father. But if she was looking for a warm welcome back to society, she was likely left rather disappointed. Because the social media reception to her reemergence was less than warm and welcoming.

Sorry, Vanky. But that was the comeback absolutely nobody wanted.
