They're still coming for you, Matt.

It’s been quite some time now since we’ve heard much at all regarding the investigation into Florida Republican House Rep. and Trump sycophant Matt Gaetz and the bombshell, disturbing claims of his alleged sex trafficking of underage girls. There’s really no denying that the story seemed to explode with a bang, all at once, before seeming to fizzle out just as quickly as it blew up — all while Gaetz is still out here seemingly living his normal life, even doing some old-fashioned campaigning for his upcoming election on the side of the highway in his FL district.

To be completely frank, it’s left many Americans disappointed in the justice system and feeling as though yet another corrupt Republican has just been allowed to carry on with their lives and their heinous crimes without a worry or care in the world, and not a shred of atonement or repercussions for all of the horrible things they’ve done and continue to do.

But according to not one… Not two… But eight inside sources with direct knowledge on the matter, Matt Gaetz had better not count his chickens before they hatch, because the feds are far from done with this fool.

The Daily Beast is now out with bombshell new reporting on the revelations from inside sources on the matter, writing:

That federal probe that generated national attention for a few weeks last year has since quieted down. But it’s not over.
Eight people with direct knowledge of the probe confirmed to The Daily Beast that the case is still unfolding—albeit at a methodical pace—as federal prosecutors work their way across a number of spokes of possible criminality. While each zone has its own sets of witnesses, subjects, and targets, all of it spirals out from one man: a crooked local tax official and Gaetz’s former ‘wingman,’ Joel Greenberg.”

Lyle Mazin, a criminal defense attorney who serves as legal representation for one of Gaetz’s alleged victims, spoke with the publication and made it abundantly clear that the lack of chatter surrounding the probe into Gaetz’s alleged sex trafficking of underage girls habit should not be taken as a lack of action on Roger Handberg’s part — the federal prosecutor who spearheaded the local team that took on the investigation and now serves as the lead of the Florida Middle District U.S. Attorney’s Office.

Mazin explained, “He’s methodical. He doesn’t let anything go. If you’re going after a monster, you have to get it right—especially when you have a bunch of Trump supporters who’ll come after you.”

The Beast did note in their report, “That day, if it comes, is likely still months off. Two attorneys said prosecutors will take extreme steps to avoid the appearance of interfering with the midterms, and expected any announcements involving Gaetz would likely come several weeks after the November election.”

They’re still coming for you, Matt. Don’t get too comfortable yet.
