Kamala Harris Tweets “Shade” At Trump After He Attacks Her On Twitter: “Something You’d Know Nothing About”

So much shade!

Donald Trump targeted California Sen. Kamala Harris on Saturday morning during his screamy-ragey tweetstorm. Harris is, of course, running for president in 2020, a move that could make her the first woman and woman of color to serve as U.S. president if elected. Trump is famously known for attacking women, and especially women of color. Unless of course, it’s Joe Biden, a man who whether you favor him or not, is seen as a main contender in the upcoming election. Trump wants the African-American vote even though he’s done nothing for the black community.

Trump lashed out at the Democratic Senator, calling her a “badly failing presidential candidate” for skipping a forum at Benedict College in South Carolina after the college honored the former reality show star for signing a criminal justice reform bill last year. The First Step Act, by the way, was bipartisan legislation that was signed by Trump.

Kamala fired back at Trump while dropping her mic at the same time. She’s quite the multitasker, apparently. “The only part of criminal justice you can claim credit for is the “criminal” part,” she tweeted in response.

So much shade:

Trump used his speech at the predominantly black college to attack our country’s first black president, Barack Obama. Try not to laugh, but Trump then claimed he has done more for black voters than any other president. He said, with a straight face, that his administration had helped African-Americans beyond anything “in the history of our country.”

According to the New York Times, the Benedict College audience was inundated with Trump’s fire-breathing, lint-licking supporters, with more than half of the tickets “reserved for guests and allies of the administration, including many black supporters of Mr. Trump who came from out of state.” Fewer than ten tickets were given to students at the university and that is pretty fucking awful. It sounds like it was a Trump rally, with attendees bussed in from out-of-state, so we’re not sure why he thinks Kamala should have attended the MAGA event.

At any rate, a new event in South Carolina was scheduled without the group that gave Trump the award for signing the bipartisan legislation, and Kamala will be going to it. And we’re pretty sure that the attendees will be genuine people, and not actors bussed in by her campaign.
